sallie's delusional ramblings

o. kay so here is my first blog. Today jacob went fishing and he did not invite me, it was a no wives or girlfriends allowed fishing trip. That's fine. So, since I'm jobless at the moment I couldn't stand another minute in the house. I looked at all four of my dogs and thought which two will I take?? I decided on vogel ( the german shorthair ) and Brie( the little pit bull). Normally I don't take brie out because strangers scare her to death ( she was abused ), but I decided to chance it. I loaded them up and drove to the river walk. It's been a long time since I went down to the river walk and it now stretches 12 miles. It was a beautiful day and the walk was crowded, but not too bad. It seemed everyone had their dogs out and most were respectful except for some idiot woman who snatched up her shit eating little dachsund when we walked by. I guess she thought my dogs were going to eat her precious. Brie did really well, except for taking a giant crap on the sidewalk. She gives no warning at all, she just goes. SO, here I am trying to scrape up dog crap off of the sidewalk. Much fun. We did about 6 miles of the walk which I thought was a good stretch. Tomorrow I think I'll go again. I just wish I lived closer so, I didn't have to drive. It's funny, right? Go driving just to go walking.
So, I'm still on the job hunt! I'm trying so hard just to find something low key. After working in animal welfare and as a Vet. tech for five years , I need a break.
